While we are eagerly waiting for the first Android 15 Developer Preview as the whole technology community, the latest observations show that this version may be released very soon. Here are the details!
Android 15 may have been seen in the latest beta update of 14!
Following the release of Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1, which offered a glimpse of potential features scheduled for release in June, attention has turned to subtle but intriguing changes to the Android 14 easter egg. The circular Android 14 logo has been replaced by an inverted triangle representing the letter V, hinting at the Vanilla Ice Cream codename associated with Android 15.
This change continues Google’s tradition of naming Android versions after desserts, with Android 14 being called Upside Down Cake.
Details on the release date of the first Android 15 Developer Preview remain unclear, but past patterns suggest it could be introduced this month or in March. Google’s past practice of releasing Android 13 and Android 14 Developer Previews in February 2022 and February 2023, respectively, has added to the excitement.
Information from the Android 14 QPR3 beta gives us a first look, including the introduction of App Pairs for improved multitasking capabilities. There’s also an expectation that Android 15 will have an easy preset mode to simplify the setup process for new users and appeal to users of all proficiency levels.
One way or another, it is possible that the Android 15 developer preview will be released very soon. What do you think about this topic? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
